YOU HAVE ONLY 14 DAYS AFTER PAYMENT RECEIVED BY INDEPENDENCE TO PURCHASE TRIP INSURANCE.
TRIP NUMBERS MUST BE ON ALL CHECKS. WiFi is Free when available. Trip prices include all meals and accommodations in staterooms. Tackle box numbers are based on your original payment date.

By placing a deposit on any trip you are acknowledging and agreeing to all of the Independence Terms and Conditions.. Prices listed are based on cash discount. A booking convenience fee for Credit Cards will be charged as a separate transaction at 3%. Processing fees are non-refundable. A Fuel Surcharge may be added due to the high cost of fuel. Items not included in the cost of your trip:

Three dollar ($3.00) per trip federal excise tax
Canned beverages,
Terminal Tackle,
Gratuities.
Mexican Permits
Mexican Visa

CANCELLATION POLICY

All reservations require a 50% deposit to hold for 4 days and more, reservations for 3 days or less a 100% is required, All reservations are non-refundable unless cancellation is made 120 days prior to departure on trips of 5 days or less. On trips of 6 days or longer, cancellations must be made at least 180 days prior to departure, and all cancellations must be in writing and received by our office. Email and phone cancellations WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Cancellations within the time frame based on the length of the trip will result in forfeiture of your deposit unless your ticket can be sold. In that case your deposit will be placed in a "Floater" and must be used within 365 days. If a CREDIT is issued for any reason, it must be used by the end of the following year, If not used in that time it will be forfeited. In any event, cancellations made within that time frame based on the length of the trip will not qualify for a refund even if sold. ALL cancellations for whatever reason are subject to a $250 or 10% cancellation fee, whichever is greater. In the event that any trip is cut short or returns early due to weather, break downs, illnesses on board, or any other unforeseen incident, there will be no cash refunds. Only credit for a future trip will be issued. Credit can be used on any open trip that is not a private Charter. The amount of credit will be issued by the Owners of Independence Sportfishing on a case by case basis. All tickets must be paid in full 60 days prior to departure..

We request that you check in (2) two hours prior to departure time, in case of early departure. We will NOT be held responsible for any rods, reels or tackle going overboard, due to mishandling by other passengers, by acts of nature or tackle left on boat. Limited Loaner gear is available upon request. If a charter date fits your schedule, contact us for availability. Fishing destination subject to change due to Mexican Fishing Regulations, weather, or captain's decision.
