IT IS NEVER TOO EARLY TO BOOK YOUR FISH PROCESSING! The fish processors who meet the boat when you return have asked that you make reservations. We are docked at Point Loma Sportfishing.

This is the only way to guarantee your fish being processed in a timely manner.

TRIP NUMBERS MUST BE ON ALL CHECKS. WiFi is Free when available.

Trip prices include all meals and accommodations in staterooms.

By placing a deposit on any trip you are acknowledging and agreeing to all of the Independence Terms and Conditions. Prices listed are based on a cash discount, and we have all rights to change our schedule at ANY time. A booking convenience fee for Credit Cards will be charged as a separate transaction at 3.5%. Processing fees are non-refundable. A Fuel Surcharge may be added due to the high cost of fuel.

Items not included in the cost of your trip:

Three dollar ($3.00) per trip federal excise tax
Canned beverages, Terminal Tackle, Gratuities, Mexican Permits, Mexican Visa & Jackpot.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All reservations require a 25% deposit is required to hold for 7 day trips or more. Reservations for 3 days or less a 100% is required. Payment plans are available with authorization and accepted by our office only. All cancellations must be sent via Email. Phone cancellations WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Cancellations will result in forfeiture of your deposit unless your ticket can be sold. In that case your deposit will be placed in a "Floater" for future use. ALL cancellations for whatever reason are subject to a $250 or 10% cancellation fee, whichever is greater. In the event that any trip is cut short or returns early due to weather, break downs, illnesses on board, or any other unforeseen incident, there will be no cash refunds, credit for a future trip will be issued. Credit can be used on any open trip that is not a private Charter. The amount of credit will be issued by the Owners of Independence Sportfishing on a case by case basis. If a CREDIT is issued for any reason, it must be used by the end of the following year. If not used in that time it will be forfeited. Your credits will not be a part of you cash deposits until the final payment is received.

All tickets must be paid in full 60 days prior to departure 8 days and less. 10 Days and more 90 days prior.

Before booking on-line, call in for accommodations for your guests or minors.

We request that you check in (2) three hours prior to departure time, in case of early departure.

We will NOT be held responsible for any rods, reels or tackle going overboard due to mishandling by other passengers, OR by acts of nature. We are not responsible for any bags, tackle or personal items left on boat.

Limited Loaner gear is available upon request.

If you are coming down early and need a place to stay, you can call the Comfort Inn 619-223-8171 x 0. Tell them you are on the Independence. They offer our Anglers a discount.

If a charter date fits your schedule, contact us for availability.

Fishing destination subject to change due to Mexican Fishing Regulations, weather, or captain's decision.

Medications need to be brought to the attention of the Skipper. (controlled substances).

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

We have the right to change our terms and conditions at any time.
